Common faults we fix

Tell us what is happening and, if you can, the make, model and any error code on the display. It helps us bring the right parts.

Not cooling or heating

Often blocked filters, a dirty coil, a failed sensor or low refrigerant from a leak.

Water leaking indoors

A blocked drain, a failed condensate pump or ice forming on the coil.

Error codes

Flashing lights or codes point to sensors, fans, boards or communication faults.

Noisy or rattling

Loose panels, a worn fan or a struggling compressor in the outdoor unit.

Bad smells

Mould or bacteria on the coil or in the drain tray, cleared with a deep clean.

Won’t turn on

Power supply, remote, control board or safety cut-outs.

How a repair works

You will know the cost before any work goes ahead.

  1. Tell us the problem

Call, WhatsApp or fill in the form. A photo of the error code or the unit helps.

  2. Fault finding visit

An F-gas certified engineer diagnoses the fault. Visits start from £99.

  3. Fixed repair price

Simple fixes are often done on the spot. If parts are needed, we confirm the price and order them.

  4. Tested and running

We test the system and tell you anything that will help it last longer.

Refrigerant leaks and F-gas rules

Air conditioning runs on refrigerant gas, which only F-gas certified engineers are allowed to handle. If your system has lost cooling over time, a leak is likely. We find and repair the leak before recharging the system, rather than simply topping it up.

Avoid repeat repairs

Many faults come from blocked filters and dirty coils. An annual service keeps your system efficient and catches small problems early. See servicing and maintenance plans.

Repair questions

Can’t see your question? Call, WhatsApp or email us and we’ll reply within 1 hour.

How much does an air conditioning repair cost?

A repair visit starts from £99, which covers finding the fault. If parts or further work are needed, we give you a fixed price before going ahead.

Do you repair all brands?

We repair most major brands, including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Toshiba, LG, Samsung and Panasonic. Tell us the make and model when you get in touch.

Why is my air conditioning blowing warm air?

Common causes are the wrong mode or temperature setting, blocked filters, a dirty outdoor unit or low refrigerant from a leak. Check the settings and filters first; if that does not fix it, an engineer needs to look.

Why is water leaking from my indoor unit?

Usually a blocked or poorly sloped condensate drain, or a failed condensate pump. Switch the unit off and get in touch, as water can damage walls and electrics.

Is it worth repairing an old system?

Often, yes, if it is under about 10 years old and the fault is simple. For older systems with major faults, a new system may cost less to run. We give you both options honestly.

Do you repair car air conditioning?

No. We work on air conditioning in homes and business premises only.
